Title: Support Education and Nutrition for Migrant Brick Kiln Children Objective: This project aims to support the children of migrant brick kiln workers by providing them with access to quality education, nutritious food, and essential learning materials, while also raising awareness about the importance of education among both children and their families. Background: In several parts of Tamil Nadu, thousands of families migrate seasonally to brick kilns for work. Their children often live in temporary, unsafe environments near the kilns and either attend nearby schools or makeshift classes within the kiln compounds. However, they lack basic necessities like proper nutrition, school uniforms, and educational supplies. These children are also unaware of the long-term importance of education, and due to their living conditions, they often struggle to stay motivated, focused, and consistent with their learning. Our Plan: We aim to support 100+ children in selected brick kiln sites.
